Hi all ..

I am writing a BB application (RIM JDE 4.2) and need to show a carousel at the bottom of the screen. For that I need to divide the screen into two horizontal parts. For e.g. If I have a list in the upper part of the screen and if the list size is greater than that can be displayed in the upper part of the screen then a vertical scroll must appear for the upper part of the screen, keeping the lower part of the screen intact. So, that a series of buttons can be used to implement the Carousel feature. Could not find a way to do that.

Need to know how to divide the screen in 2 horizontal parts.
Please help me out on this .. and if this has been discussed already, pls point me to the appropriate thread.
