Unhappy Using my Blackberry Internationally (in Israel)

Please Login to Remove!

I have a problem. I am traveling to Israel next month and really need (ok, "want") to have my Blackberry service while I'm there. If not the BB push service, I at least want to be able to use my BB to get onto the Internet and check my Yahoo! mail. I would also like to be able to have access to my instant messaging service to "chat" with family members at no/little cost.

I called AT&T and they said that they only way I can get international data service on my BB is to commit to a one-year, $64.99 per month international package, with an early termination fee of $155. Since I'm only going to be in Israel for two weeks and don't have any other international travel plans on the horizon, this does not make sense.

Are there any other solutions someone can recommend? My phone is unlocked, so I am hoping that there is something I can do through another company and with another SIM card.
