Hi, i am new to the forums, i came by it by searchign for a answer to my questions about my bb8700g.
i have it on o2 pay as you go UK, the phone and messaging work fine. but i cannot get any data sent to it so i am able to go online, i dont even need a email account set to it so i have instant email. i am just wanting it for general internet on the go.
by looking on the net i have found these settings
Gateway IP: 220.127.116.11
but i do not even know where the options are to change the gateway ip or the port.
only the last 3. so i dont know what other steps to take.
calling o2. they say that pay as you go you cant use the settings for blackberry. this is because they dont give pre pay users email address to go with the sim card. BUT. i have seen a blackberry on pay as you being used on o2 pay as you go , that is the reason i went out to get the same and a o2 pre pay simcard.
if there is any help out there it would be greatly appreciaited.
