I think you can do this. When I've moved to different BB, in 'advance' with the backup/restore option. Autotext was listed as a seperate item in that window. With that, I've pulled up the file from the most recent backup, went to backup/restore, advance, then was able to click specifically on the autotext line and transfer it to the BB. I've been able to do that with other individual items such as address book.
