Just got my new Blackberry World edition!

I put in the battery - It's just blinking a red light...I assumed the batt was zapped since it's brand new.

It's plugged in right now and the little red light blinks on and off (What does that mean?

) And occasionally, the screen turns white with a little hour glass, then goes black again - The red light constantly going on and off.

How long do I have to wait for it to charge? Is this NORMAL???
