Right now if the hit the phone key they get the option to place a call with entering a password for for some even that is too much. I must admit I have a button on my pearl for voice dialing and it will not work unless I am logged in. It would be able to just dial a number as you would with a cell phone. My company is more worried about someone accessing email and not so much about the phone so if I could open up the phone features with no lock and just keep the password for anything beyond dialing it would be great. is there any way to do this? |

Security Options ->
General Settings and enable
Allow Outgoing Calls While Locked
When the phone is locked it should display an option called Place Call. Hopefully that does what you want.
