This is where it gets confusing then as I bought an unlateched BB, put in my corporare sim card (O2-UK) which has BES enabled and did an enterprise activation. All worked fine.

Then I put in a different corporate sim card which has BIS activated and that also let me do an enterprise activation.

From all the information that I can find, it seems that there is different provisioning for BIS and BES so how come the devices I have work on BES regardless of whether they are setup for BIS or BES. I.E. on one of the sims I am paying the £10 BIS service but am able to use BES.

It's getting very confusing. Does this mean that if I put a consumer O2 sim card in (or another carrier for that matter) and add the BIS component that I can still use BES? All info would seem to suggest no but then what I have already done shouldn't have worked either should it?

Can anyone shed any light?
