It looks as though Vodafone are doing the same thing here in the UK; this month's brochure says, in the small print, "BlackBerry Sat Nav subscription lasts for 12 months of your agreement. Thereafter it is available on a monthly subscription."

No details seem to be supplied as to how much the monthly subscription is, it seems to be like signing a blank cheque.

It seems a little harsh to charge me for using a piece of my own hardware; can another app be installed in its place?
