You need to configure your webserver to properly serve up OTA files, a bit offtopic for this thread (I was referring to putting these files on your Media card, why not just do that?). You can read a blog post of mine on how to configure Apache here:

This will serve up OTA (.jad, .jar, .cod, etc.) files correctly.
