I received the same information (October 2) and am on a "list" to get a Bold when available. However, the latest information indicates that AT&T is trying to get the Bold out by the end of the month, so a release next week is sounding possible.

In either case, I can't wait. I have almost all of my accessories ready to go (minus the Seidio holster), and just need the dang phone!
