So I could get an unlocked Vodafone 9500 but would be limited to EDGE speeds on AT&T, correct?
So now that Rodgers came out and announced that they are releasing the 9500, does anyone know if their version is exactly the same as Vodafone's or is it different and will it work on AT&T's 3G network?
If not, I may switch to Verizon and pick up the 9530. I may even do a month to month plan and if AT&T ever releases a 3G storm, switch back and eBay my VZW Storm.
Any thoughts on whether Verizon's EVDO is better or worse than AT&T's 3G network in Manhattan? Who knows what is causing the Bold delay but there seems to be a lot of speculation that AT&T's 3G network isn't up to snuff. However I have also heard that it should be faster than EVDO. From a practical standpoint, which would be better in NYC?
