Um go into beside mode or hit the blackberry button while in "this charge mod" and select one of the options...The default is to while in charing mode put in to bedside mode.
I have never had this issue while plugging into a computer only while in a wall charger. But I have it directly connected to a wall charger unless i'm backing up as the usb trickle charge is LAME!
Make sure your while in clock mode the option is registered as:
When charging: DO nothing
