Default Bluetooth has never worked on any of the 8100s I've ever owned - HELP

I've had about 7 or 8 8100s over the last 2 years, and I've NEVER been able to get a Bluetooth headset to work with any of them. It wasn't a neccesity, so I didn't really think much about it, until now. I just started a new job, and it's imperative that I get my Bluetooth working. I have a Jawbone that I had working with the 8220 that I also have, but I hate the 8220, and want to go back to my 8100. I have TMobile sending me a replacement unit which will get here tomorrow, but I have a feeling that it's going to be the same story.

Does anyone else have this problem? Does any have any ideas for testing the Bluetooth?

I've tried to pair 3 different ear pieces with the 8100, but to no avail. It just doesn't see the ear piece, when the 8220 sees it just fine.
