I have not used .216. that being said I have found better reception using .190 then .162 and far even better reception using .234
This may also be due to the 850 switch over to 3G as now I get consistent 3g reception anywhere in my basement apartment.
Before I could not make calls consistent(5 dial attempts to connect) as I would get phantom 3g then switch to edge then drop out. I was still using .190 when the 3g 850 mhertz switch occured about a 1month ago.
.234 is far far more sensitive antenna imho.
