It says the battery is drained and now when I connect the charger it has the yellow light... but the battery was full before this so I'm confused.

Pull the battery count to 10.
Put the battery back in.
Plug the phone up to a USB cable from you computer.
Make sure the device manager is running.
Wait for the computer to power up your phone it may take a little time.
I had a battery that was fully drained and this worked for me.
Also you can check you status by going to options-status
It will give you the battery strength
