I had a similar situation with an 8320 Curve. Water damage dried out, then some keys were almost completely not responsive.

The good news is that the problem got *mostly* better. I still have a few buttons that I need to push a bit harder but their condition definitely did improve and I continued to use the phone for a while without trouble.
