Has anyone got the 8700r to work as a modem yet?
Also I've heard that the bluetooth on the 8700 now supports data transfer, if so does it look like it will act as the link to a laptop if using the phone as a modem?

I'm seriously looking at the 8700, and modem capability is a big selling point for me.

I bit the bullet and purchased the 8700r. Its a great little device. Completly blows away my 7100r.

Modem use works with the 8700 on Rogers so long as you wipe your system clean of any previous installs of BB software. (At least that's what worked for me)
