My problem is that I can get to step 5 and that is where it fails. The Desktop manager can't find the device that the MS software found when it paired. After you do the initial pairing, do you get any services showing for the 8700? I do not, even when I ask it to search for services on the device. I am using the MS Bluetooth stack, not the Widcomm stack.
