Slightly off topic, but, typically, the ZIP file for a Desktop Manager installation contains an ALX file (no JAD file) and one or more COD files -- unlike a JAD file, you cannot launch an ALX file from the BlackBerry itself. You can download an installation package to your microSD card using the "Bing Bang BlackBerry OTA Downloader" utility (Blackberry OTA downloader | download free OTA themes to your desktop) and the OTA JAD file.
