If snapshotting (is that a real word?) make sure you snapshot after every update, as you don't want your CDO and MAPI32 dlls mismatched (or anything else!).

and are interested in DR, the main thing I said was the knottyrope mantra - "Backup the DB", at least once a day. The db is the heart of your BES so you can have as many DR plans and setups as you like but without the DB, you are reactivating x users.
