Thanks for the input from everyone. Yes, the protective cover has been removed.

When I hold the two units next to each other and look at the home screen, the two replacement units have a noticably duller and yellowish screen. And yes, they are both set the same as far as the brightness options are concerned.

My original one has a much brighter screen but still has the yellow streaking through it, most noicable on white screens such as when you are composing a new message.

Since I had to order the unit through T-Mo CSR for pricing reasons, I have to continue working with them. Problem is that every time I have to return a unit, I have to pay for shipping it back. I supposed I can go to a real store and compare, but it will not solve my issue since the stores can not issue a replacement handset for a CSR originated order.

I and several people have looked at the units side by side under various lighting conditions and in various types of lights. Same issue.

Just hard to beleive that I am having that much bad luck with these things.
