There are five of us in my company who are now using the Touch HD with BB Connect on AT&T in the US. For AT&T it definitely required the .106 cab.
While updating the data plan for the last user I upgraded to BB Connect the AT&T rep told me to make sure I had the right install file for the device since they are all based on IMEI number ranges. While I can't know for sure, this seems to be logical based on the experiences reported here and elsewhere.
BTW, has anyone seen problems with the calendar not updating on the device after provisioning? This is connecting to a corporate BES on a Lotus Notes system. I've seen this intermittently on a Diamond and I can always get the calendar entries to sync after I make some update to the entry and then save it on the desktop side.
I just saw this on a Touch HD the other day but when I installed mine and several others the calendar synched automatically upon provisioning as I expected.
Also, for Notes users RIM still hasn't fixed the bug for the false invalid address issue when replying to email from Notes users who are not in your local address book. Local as in on your PDA local.
