Simply telling them "Although you've been paying insurance we cannot process your insurance request." doesn't cut it for me.
I don't disagree with your thinking, but do a search on the forum here and I think you will find a person who THOUGHT they had insurance, only to find that they did not.
They got a refund on the $5/month they were paying, but no insurance.
