Strange that RIM would release a device with this kind of problem. Their previous devices have the best build quality I've seen out of the major handset makers. Although the battery door on my 7100g is flimsy, the rest is built very well. I've had the unit for almost a year now with heavy use and it has never had any specks of dust anywhere in or around the screen.

Trust me, that type of thing would drive me crazy too!!
