Are you saying there is no way for this to be fixed even to some extent?

Getting another phone isn't an option for me. I accidentally took my last phone in the sea, which is why I've been given this handset. I currently don't have the money to spare to buy a new phone and I see no reason why this would work fine for a few weeks and then just not even turn on properly.

If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.
