This is the worst example you could have possibly given.
Verizon isn't even a possibility since you can't use the Bold on their network at all.
An unlocked Bold would be compatible with a GSM carrier in the US, such as AT&T or T-Mobile.
To the OP... look at AT&T or T-Mobile.
Both will work fine with your device.
