You've been given some bad information. The BB browser works great with T-Zones as does Pandora, Facebook, Loopt, UberTwitter, etc. No problems with OTA downloads. Don't know about BB Maps, I use Google Maps. Haven't tried AppWorld
If you use a BES server for or a pop mail account this might not be for you, for for Gmail users a $5.99 data plan is a great alternative to a $20 month BlackBerry plan... I love it.
