One solution would be to see if your prez is on Facebook. Businesses are finding FB to be an increasingly useful tool. Who knows, they just *might* find that FB is not just another waste of corporate resources. There are many organizations, and even civil agencies that have a facebook profile.

On the other hand, slipping your IT guy some 'consideration' might also work too.
