For me its just the 4 buttons just below the screen. Which is strange because even if i press a button on the right hand side (i.e. the back key or the end key), it still manages to cause the 'disturbance' in the bottom left hand corner of the screen
I dont seem to have any prob with the volume buttons.
In terms of the screen, i tend to grab it from right at the top, so it dosent really create any disturbance - however ive just tried grabbing it from the top of the screen itself (i.e. lower down the phone than I usually would) then yes it does cause a disturbance.
I DONT MIND THIS, the only thing worrying me is potentially dead pixels. If I take it back after the pixels have died, vodafone will be like "well, you probabily sat on it." and thus, won't replace it under warranty.
BUT heres a thought: since irsan_tedja lives in Australia (I presume, from the network bieng Optus) - and Midnightdraven only bieng round the corner, in Chester (i.e. British phone), could the handsets be ever so slightly different in some way, which causes this problem to occur??
