Without a headset does the bold cut out (not on speaker phone)?

I work in NYC and using a bluetooth headset on the street in an exercise in frustration. From my expecience, noise cancellation headsets are useless except for the Motorola H15 which is the best small headset I've ever had and can actually use it in Times Square. Prior to that, the only other one was the Sony HBH-300 (not noise cancelling but a boom headset) but incoming sound was very low. Motorola just announced a new headset the HX1 which I plan to get as soon as it is available. For wired, that's tough too. In the car, I like the ety-com but on the street the wind kills it unless you don't mind the wind sock which is large. The Shure Quiet spot had some good press but I think they were discontinued.

I've been using the stock Bold earphones as I've been listening to podcasts on my Bold. In the street it picks up a lot of background noise and wind kills it but I can hold the mic close to my mouth and have a conversation.

Regards-Michael G.
