This is also not something which is "officially" possible with my current config (Win Mobile device and mNotes). However the mNotes is communicating via ActiveSync with my device via TCPIP protocol even if it connected via USB. So it is transparent to the device if the communication line is USB or a remote connection.

So my hope was that the Blackberry desktop software is also communicating somehow over the IP protocol with the device if it is connected via USB.

So if I got it right, this is not the case?
