When I move any jad file to the SD card in my Storm or my Pearl and click on it, it starts to try and download some file and then fails. Nothing ever gets installed.

The Storm doesn't have WiFi and I don't subscribe to either T-Mobile or Blackberry's internet packages. Are those necessary to install jad files? I have installed a number of other programs but they always included an executable files I could run on the desktop.
