First off, do this:

With your BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds, replace it, and allow the BlackBerry to reboot. After reboot, give it a few minutes to settle down all the data activity, then try the camera again.

THEN, if still not, Open the camera > Menu > Options > and see where you are saving your camera image to... should be your Media Card, not the device memory.
