I'm in New York and going to Central Europe for 2 weeks. Verizon tells me my blackberry - it's of the 8300 series - won't work overseas and I have to get a loaner from them that will. Plus this whole Global package. Is there any way I can just get internet access over there on my existing blackberry? Any way to get a different card- I've read something about getting a new SIM card, but frankly i don't even know if blackberries have those. Sorry. Anyway, can anyone tell me if I can get around the stupid loaner blackberry issue? All I really need is the GPS.
