Are you sure you have a sd card inside your phone. Go to options, make sure:
Media Card Support- On
encryption mode- none
Auto enable mass storage mode when connected- either prompt or yes.

If that doesn't work, reformat the media card (make sure you make it a FAT32). Then put it back into the bold. Then connect your phone. Then transfer the file into the sd card. See how that goes.
