I have a wired computer on the network (I'm writing this on it), and whatever way it is set up it was done automatically because I haven't a clue how to configure it.

That checkbox was ticked, and I haven't unticked it. In fact, for some reason, right now I have the full wi-fi connection, and have had for several minutes -- hey, maybe it's here for good, in which case, Happy Days!
