I have a Sprint BB Curve 8330 OS Version 220.127.116.11 and received a notification from my carrier Sprint saying that a new os version 18.104.22.168 was now available. I went to Desktop Manager 5.0 version, and it automatically had the newest version available for installation...
A window "TASKS in progress , 2 of 11 " appeared,
1. connect to device... this was completed
2. back up device data, ... this was completed
but,,, as soon as it got to number 3
3. which is "back up 3rd party application"... it IMMEDIATELY stopped right here and got an error message that stated : "a fatal error has occurred while updating your devices' software. please try again"...
GRRRR I tried this again 4 times, but kept getting the same error message always at # 3 task.
what could be wrong???? Please help!
