Wow, I would like to thank JSanders for his patience and help with this thread.

A friend of mine might sell me his 9530, I was concerned but I just read through this entire thing and it looks like I just might be okay

Glad you posted the information on how to back up my service books so I can put them on the new device.

And for Jim, go to Options->Status to find your imei and PIN number.
