I purchased it off someone local. I checked the ESN before I purchased it and it was clean. It worked for about 2 months and then I put a new battery in it last week. Once it turned on after the battery replacement, the "Service Required" message appeared on the screen.
It was recommended to use the JL-Cmder to remove everything from the device and reinstall the OS. Didn't work and the Bell rep said that he has never seen an ESN wiped from a device.
