this may help in the future

The Voice Recorder application on the BlackBerry smartphone is currently recording or was left recording in the background.


To resolve this issue, complete the following steps on the BlackBerry smartphone:
Navigate to the Home Screen and select the Media icon.
Select the Voice Notes icon.
Press the Menu key and select Record.
Click the Pause button in the center of the Voice Recorder application.
Select the Stop button on the playback bar at the bottom of the Voice Recorder.
Close the Voice Recorder application and navigate to the Home Screen.


Additional Information
If stopping the Voice Recorder application does not correct the issue, perform the following tasks on the BlackBerry smartphone:
Close any open applications and remove the battery.
Wait 10 seconds and then put the battery back in. This reboots the BlackBerry smartphone causing the Voice Recorder application to be shut down.
Once the BlackBerry smartphone reboots and displays the Home Screen, click on the Media icon and attempt to play a voice note or song.
