| | New ATT Data Plans (BIS, BES, or both)?
Please Login to Remove!
Seems nobody at ATT can answer my question about the new "limited" data plans. Before June 7 of this year you would have to purchase the $45 BB Enterprise plan in order to activate your device on a BES. It was an option on their site when ordering a new BB.
Now when you go online to order a new BB you get only 3 options (2GB with or without tethering and 200MB).
Important AT&T Customer Notice:
The device you have selected requires a data service. AT&T offers a choice of data services for access to email, the Web, contacts, and more.
Data service options:
• DataPlus 200MB for Smartphone or BlackBerry® Personal - Social networking, email, surf the web -- stay connected and productive. Free Wi-Fi access included!
• DataPro 2GB for Smartphone or BlackBerry® Personal Bundle - Stream music, download videos and apps, plus email and the web -- more power, more capacity. Free Wi-Fi access included!
• DataPro 2GB Smartphone or BlackBerry® Personal with Tethering - Need Web access on the go? Make the most of your data service by sharing it with your laptop or netbook!
You will have an opportunity to make your data service selection before you checkout.
Existing customers may be eligible to keep their current data service. Data services cover usage in the U.S. only.
There's no mention of an "enterprise" plan. Nor does it say it isn't.
Chatting with their web folks is just a waste of time. It seems calling is the only way...but even then it seems to take forever.
