Lisa? Forgot about that misadventure. One group in our company managed to bypass IT and get a system with about 4 Lisas and a printer. I remember that Apple replaced them with the little Macs cause Lisa never grew up.
About that time I made the suggestion that the company start standardizing memos, fax, and other corporate documents due to various styles and fonts. I finally made the statement in a meeting that we were not a company but a loose confederation of word processor users. We had one clown who used Lotus 1-2-3 for typing memos and letters. He did not think that it was worth his while to learn the old DOS version of Wordperfect. He was referred to as the clown prince because he wanted to become VP when our current one retired. Needless to say you did not get the job when the VP retired around 1994 and managed to alienate quite a few people along the way.
We will spend our old age surrounded by idiots following government rules.
