It's probably not bricked.

Press reset. If the device reboots ok, continue on. Hopefully it won't happen again, at least not anytime soon.

If it doesn't boot and you end up back where you're at, which is what it sounds like, then the thing to do is wipe the device with JL_CMDER and then reinstall the operating system.
