I have the 7290 with Cingular AT&T. I have installed the modem on COM6 and I get to the point where the dial-up succeeds, network connection is established, ipconfig shows expected info. IP traffic does not work however, packets going out but nothing received. I see the same symptom with 3 different modem configurations (including the SharkModem driver and the instructions provided by Cingular as well). It looks like the inbound traffic gets blocked. Anybody has seen and resolved this? Any info appreciated.
