First, you need a blackberry data plan, or data service. Not just the general mobile data service, but specific for blackberry. You buy it from the same service provider for your mobile phone. It is an extra charge.

The software may be Desktop Manager. It is on the CD you may have found in the box with your blackberry. You can also download it free at blackberry.com.
