T-Mo could take 3-5 days even though they tell you 3 weeks.
Also there are lots of companies that are charging ~10 $ and they are done within hours and you are all good.
Once you have the BB unlocked, call T-Mo and have them add the "BB International Feature (39.99)" on the TOP of your BB Plan. Make sure they dont RE-DO the whole account setup (They did this to me and wiped out all the email accounts and I was in remote country and could not add those accounts because I was not one the T-MO network.

Make sure the International feature is enables atleast 3 days before you leave on your trip. That way you can make sure all the features are working while you are here in US of A.

In case you have any issues while abroad, call T-MO 805.637.7243 and ask the rep to call you back on the other land line and TMO rep will call you back so you dont incurr heavy call charges.
