I have this same problem.
The phone is defiantly unlocked as all the settings on the SIM card are set to "Disabled". I got a brand new SIM card from Vodaphone yesterday, yet it still does not recognize the Sim. I have wiped the phone, done numerous battery pulls, yet to no avail. Would reinstalling the software or updating making any difference? As the phone is unlocked i don't see what else i can do?
The SIM is a £35 p/m contract that was originally bought with a Storm, could it be this that is stopping the SIM working seen as the phone was exclusive to the network?
