That's your issue.

Just to be sure, do a cold reboot on the computer. Shut it down completely. Count to ten. Restart it.

Do a hard reset on the blackberry. With the power on, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds.

When computer and BlackBerry have booted, start desktop manager, then connect the BlackBerry. What happens?
