Default Multiple App Connection Issues

Thank you in advance for nay help you can give. I hope I am posting this in the right forum.

I got a hand-me-down Curve 8330 this last weekend. It was formally used by my wife for her business. Upon first use, I was able to install and have apps work internittently. I also was unable to change the password settings (there was a red lock icon by it). So I assumed it had to do with my wife's work sercurity on the BB. So I wiped it. Now the ability to change password is unlocked and all former security seemed to be gone.

But now, I cannot get my apps to connect. I can browse the internet, I can receive emails, I can download apps from sites like But once the app is installed and I go to use it, they give me connection errors. Pandora, skype, and grooveshark all have given me issues.

I am running v4.5.0.191
