Default App World - Can't update..." App is not available from BB App World"

I've upgraded to OS6 on my 9700...works great. Today I noticed some upgrades available on App World and attempted to download them. The first one went OK, but the other two gave me a message saying " (the app) is not available for download from Blackberry App World." [note that the first app was a freebie...the other two were pay apps].

This problem happened to me before [possibly after an OS upgrade...don't remember...] and I fixed it by creating a new BB ID with all the same info as my original. [The story is recounted in This thread ]

This time I can't...it tells me there is already an account under my email address. I suppose I could create a new ID under a different email addy...but I don't have many of these and what happens when I run out?

Can anybody tell me what the heck is going on here? Has anybody else experienced the same thing?
